General Information

  • The Argo is a 700-capacity Entertainment Venue (referred to as “the Venue” throughout this FAQ), paired with:

    • The Lounge — a cocktail lounge featuring drinks by Schyler Isham and a forthcoming food menu by Chef Dan Jacobs

    • The Marquee Ballroom — a second-floor event space with a 200-person capacity for public and private events.

    Please Note (December 5, 2025):

    The Lounge is not yet serving food. Food service will be added soon. Until then, guests can enjoy a full cocktail menu, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options. A show ticket is not required to spend time in The Lounge

  • The Argo is located in the historic former Fox Bay Theater at 334 E Silver Spring Dr, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217, in the heart of Milwaukee’s North Shore. All guests enter through the main Silver Spring Drive entrance.

  • The Argo is open to the public five nights a week, with hours varying based on our event schedule. Current hours are posted at theargolive.com/spaces.

  • Most events are all-ages unless labeled 21+. The Lounge is All Ages during posted hours.

  • Yes. The Argo is a cashless venue. We accept major cards and contactless payments.

Getting Here: Parking, Transit & Entrances

  • There is a free parking garage directly behind The Argo and free street parking along Silver Spring Drive.

    Additional free parking is available at Bayshore Mall for those comfortable with a short walk.

  • Yes — event nights can be busy. Rideshare drop-off/pickup is located near the Silver Spring Drive entrance.

    Multiple Public Transit lines have stops nearby The Argo entrance.

  • All guests — including ADA guests — enter through the main Silver Spring Drive entrance. Staff will guide guests to the proper ticketing or wristband area.

  • Yes. Bike racks are available near the main entrance.

Tickets & Box Office

  • Tickets are available at theargolive.com/events, powered by Eventbrite.

  • When you order tickets, an Eventbrite account is created using the email address you enter during checkout.

    To access your tickets, log in to the Eventbrite app or website using the email on your order. Then, go to Tickets.

  • If a show is not sold out, door tickets may be available. Staff will help you purchase a ticket on once you arrive.

    Door pricing may differ from online pricing, so we recommend you purchase in advance.

  • No. You do not need a ticket to hang out in The Lounge.

    The Lounge is open to the public during operating hours, unless the venue is closed for a private buyout.

  • All ticket sales are final. Refunds are only issued if a show is canceled or rescheduled.

    We recommend Tixel for reselling.

  • VIP balcony tickets provide access to the upper-level viewing area with its own bar and restrooms. There is also a soft-seating lounge with couches on this level

    Staff will direct VIP guests to the correct line or entry point when they arrive.

Entry Policies

  • Small bags and personal items are permitted. All guests may be subject to screening.

  • Bags must not exceed 12” x 12” x 6”. Backpacks and large bags are not allowed unless completely clear.

  • Weapons, outside alcohol, illegal substances, professional cameras (without approval - email ticketing@theargolive.com for approval), laser pointers, glass containers, and items deemed unsafe by staff.

  • Yes — The Argo is a cashless venue.

  • A valid ID is required for alcohol service and for entry to any 21+ event.

  • Re-entry is not guaranteed and varies by event. Check with staff before exiting.

  • Standard screening may occur depending on the event.

Seating, Standing & Accessibility

  • The Venue is primarily standing room unless a show is specifically advertised as seated.

    There is limited first-come, first-serve seating on both levels, but most guests should expect to stand.

    ADA seating is always available on both levels. Please reach out to ticketing@theargolive.com for special accommodations.

  • Yes. ADA seating areas are available on both levels.

    Email ticketing@theargolive.com at least one week in advance to ensure proper accommodation.

  • Yes. The Venue has a flat ground-level entrance, elevator access to upper floors, and accessible restrooms.

    Email ticketing@theargolive.com one week prior with any mobility-related needs.

  • The Argo offers:

    • Designated viewing areas with clear sightlines

    • Accommodation for ASL interpreters (with advance request)

    Guests requesting interpretation or enhanced listening support should email ticketing@theargolive.com at least 14 days before the event to ensure availability.

  • Yes — service animals trained to perform tasks for individuals with disabilities are permitted.

    To help our staff prepare, please email ticketing@theargolive.com one week in advance if you plan to bring a service animal.

Inside The Argo

  • Personal photography is usually permitted unless restricted by the artist. Professional cameras require advance approval - email ticketing@theargolive.com

  • Most artists offer merch near the main entrance in the Lounge.

    The Argo-branded items are available at select events or online at theargolive.com/shop

  • Yes — The Argo is a cashless venue.

  • No. Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors.

  • Yes — though temperatures may vary with attendance and season.

Private Events

  • Yes. The Ballroom (200-person capacity) and all other spaces are available for private rentals.

Food & Drink (The Lounge)

  • [December 5, 2025] Not yet — food service is launching soon with a menu by Chef Dan Jacobs of Top Chef, DanDan, and EsterEv.

    Once launched, food service will be available 5 days a week in the Lounge, and does not require a ticket to an event.

  • Yes — once food service begins.

    Please Note:

    The Lounge is not yet serving food, but drink service is fully available. No show ticket required.

  • The Lounge features cocktails by Schyler Isham, in addition to beer, wine, and non-alcoholic offerings.

  • No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

  • We maintain a safe, respectful environment for all guests, artists, and staff. Harassment or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.

  • Yes. We follow all state guidelines for responsible service.
